Nothing New

I am still slowly, steadily working on my sweater which is turning out lovely, but there hasn't been substantial progress (such as a sleeve) to warrant posting photos. I should really start another project as working on just one for too long becomes a little tedious for me. I had a look at the new knitty and found a few cute patterns, but I think I fell in love with Tendrils. I made Sivia Harding's Variation on a Frill, which was my first knitting project with beads, and I love it in spite of the uncertainty I expressed in my post about it. Tendrils appeals to me even more, so I might have to splurge on the yarn for it. I think I deserve it considering all the Lion Brand I've been using lately, not that there's anything wrong with Lion Brand.

Other than knitting I have been consumed with a job hunt for the last two months. I knew it would be hard to find a job here, but had no idea it would be quite this difficult. Anyway, I haven't lost heart quite yet, and things are possibly starting to look up. I'm doing some temporary work and have a couple of interviews lined up so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Can't wait to have yarn money again!
