Dragonfly

I can't believe how long its been since I last posted. I have been knitting a little, but only on the same Ene's scarf I've been working on for the last several months. I'm over half way done and its going quickly now so I hope to complete it soon. I got a new flash card for my camera as well so I'm planning on posting progress pictures later this week.

While I haven't been doing much knitting, I have been doing some other crafting. For Christmas I made a stained glass window (with the help of my mom who is very talented) for a friend who loves dragonflies. Andy and I made the design around an existing dragonfly pattern and my mom helped me pick out the glass and did most of the cutting and foiling on the wings because she's much faster and more precise than I am.





The pictures are a little blurry, and it seems impossible to capture the textures of the glass in photos, but I think the window turned out very nice. I didn't want to give it away! Fortunately we have plenty of glass left to make more.

I hope everyone's having a nice Christmas and holiday season. I'm on vacation this week and am hoping to have some knitting to show for it soon.
